1947, Rostov-on-Don. In a country bloodless by war, hunger and devastation reign. Bread is literally worth its weight in gold, and the cost of human life is zero. The number of crimes is growing, gangster groups are emerging that control entire cities. It is one of these gangs that terrifies the residents of Rostov.
